Join as a tradie
What a customer check shows
Registered-owner match
Enter the job address and Kepuro tells you whether the name matches the registered owner. If it doesn't, you know to confirm who's paying before you start. Uses public LINZ records; nothing is stored.
Kepuro record
If the customer is a verified member you see their level (Verified, Trusted, Gold), how many invoices they've paid, how many tradies they've satisfied, and how fast they pay on average. Only good news, ever.
Connected businesses
If the person is a director of a company, you'll see it, so you can invoice the right entity and run a company check with one tap.
Site notes from other trades
The dog, the steep drive, the water toby behind the garage. Notes are about the site, never about the person.

How many verified jobs other Kepuro tradies have done there, and when. A house with a history is a house that pays.

What a company or builder check shows
From the public register
- Company status, age, registered office and NZBN
- Directors, how long they've been there, and their other companies, including any put into liquidation
- Shareholders and trading details
- Annual returns, and whether they're overdue
- A plain-English note when something's worth knowing: new company, director change, overdue filings
From verified subbies
- How many subcontractors say they were paid on time
- Average days to pay subbies
- Whether the company is itself a verified Kepuro member
- Watch a company and get an email the day anything changes on the register
- Deposit and progress-payment wording you can paste into a quote
Tools for the job itself
Site safety notes
Shared between verified trades with a job at that address, and visible to the homeowner. Cleared after two years or when the house changes hands.
Lone-worker check-in
Check in when you arrive. If you don't check out, your alert contact gets an email and an app alert with your location. Works offline and sends when you're back in signal.
Scam alerts
“Overpaid, please refund the difference”, “our bank account has changed”. Tradies in your area report them, you see them the same day.
Your free local ad
Every verified tradie gets a free ad, shown when someone checks an address in your area and no business has booked that spot. Never shown to tradies in your own trade. Free for a limited time as a launch offer.
Member offers
Offer Trusted and Gold customers something small (priority booking, no call-out fee) and they'll see it when they look for a tradie.
